Our Wedding Guests Raved About Our Choice in Hotel

Crystal Springs has changed a lot since I moved to NY in 2010!

My husband and I returned to PA for our wedding in late May 2013, and one of the things we are still hearing about from our guests is how much they loved their stay at the hotel. That the layout was awesome (considering some of our guests had 4 or more to a room to cut costs) and it was huge with 2 big beds and a queen size pullout couch. They also loved the staff (how she set them up with wifi and extra bedding straight away) the kcup coffee machine, afterhours check in options, the balconies, etc.

I worked with her for about 4 months prior to the wedding, and the reason we had such a large block of rooms booked only with this hotel is because of the hotel’s customer service. We had originally booked rooms at the Riverstone and they never felt inclined to tell us rooms had opened up (when we requested to be on the waitlist).

Frustrated, we called in mid-January and just inquired about their rates. If you’re staying more than one night or bringing in a rather large group, it’s turns this luxury hotel room into a bargain, at the same price (cheaper on the weekends) than some of the other options in Towanda.
Mary sent us spreadsheets as our guests made their RSVPs and was in constant communication, even leaving our out-of-town goodie bags in each room.

Of the 15 or so rooms that were reserved, the only issue was when we a room of guests that got sick and never updated the hotel until past the cancellation period. And Mary allowed us to put new guests into that room so our sick guests wouldn’t be charged the cancellation fee.

I will only come to this hotel when in Towanda, and when we asked my new inlaws if they wanted to come with us to PA in September, they insisted on returning to Crystal Springs.

Also, we got some complimentary champagne and strawberries on our wedding night. Amazing experience.
